Villanova is proud to host Fall Games for the 20th Consecutive Year!

Special Olympics Pennsylvania is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Fall Festival at Villanova University on November 7-9, 2008. The 2007 Fall Festival welcomed over 1,000 athletes and 400 coaches from 44 counties to participate in the statewide competition. Last Year's Fall Festival drew over 2,500 volunteers from the Villanova Student Body and the surrounding community to serve as officials, athlete escorts, and award presenters, as well as to provide administrative and support services. The Fall Festival is hosted and organized by Villanova University students and is the largest annual student-run Special Olympics event in the world.

Special Olympics Pennsylvania (SOPA) provides year-round sports training and competition for more than 18,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The organization offers over 300 local and sectional events and three major statewide events- Winter Games, Summer Games, and Fall Festival - in 23 sports with the opportunity for athletes to advance to regional and international competition.
